Not happy

Staff are rude for one!! and I phoned to pay off my loan earlier than stated and was told I was not allowed to? don't understand that at all so got through to a manager who was also rude and told me the same she said she would pass it to the complaints department as I was not happy and a year later I am still waiting for my call back. Don't Bother

Wonga are supposed to be a good company to get a payday loan from , however the interest is exceptionally high and if you miss a week or a few weeks due to illness you will be persecuted Reviewed on: 21st April 2016

Poor Customer Services

A con

Notorious for their fees, wonga are a group of scam artists preying on the vunerable with their ridiculously high APR and numerous hidden charges. They should be shut down immeadiately! Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

Good but only as a last option

Hidden Charges

Had no problem the first couple of times but last time I used I paid EARLY and they charged me (without warning) for doing so. Reviewed on: 11th November 2015

Do not go near this company!

I applied for a short term payday loan with wonga when i found a new job. My wages were getting messed around and i had no money to live on, so thought that wonga could help. They lent me the money no problem, but then a couple of days before the agreed payment was to come out, started deducting money from my bank account. Their customer service is appalling, they rang me hassling for money of me whilst i was in hospital recovering from a miscarriage. I would definately avoid this company and talk to a bank if you need a loan in future not a payday loan shark!!! Reviewed on: 9th August 2015
