Horrible company

Zero consumer awareness and customer service. They outright ignore you when you ask them to give you "breathing space". Once you get a loan with Wonga, it's like signing your soul to the dark lord. Reviewed on: 2nd July 2017

Rip off

I got a loan from wonga a couple years ago and they sent me an letter saying that's the debt written off the shouldn't of gave me a loan now there saying I'm due them 500+ I'm happy to pay what I'm due as I couldn't help not paying as I got made redundant I paid most of my loan there just adding money to it Reviewed on: 24th June 2017

Terrible!

You end up getting a loan and paying it back but because it's too much you end up in a cycle of getting a loan paying it back then repeat or you end up screwed because the interest rate it shocking especially for people in lower income jobs who by the way actually do need to help out. Not impressed.

When having trouble obtaining credit, I decided to get the odd wonga payday loan and repay early to help improve my credit rating which had been trashed by my now ex-husband. This was working extremely well until my expired debit card was replaced with a new one. Wonga' system just wouldn't accept the new one so I stopped using them. The staff seemed unwilling or unable to help when I phoned. Reviewed on: 7th June 2017
