overpriced and horrilbe

I have been with brighthouse for 3 years and never missed a payment, i recently had 2 surgeries meaning i cant work for awhile and will be on universal credit until healthy again. I told brighthouse my payment would be 3 weeks later due to this and the balance would be cleared on the day of the universal credit payment. 2 weeks in to the 3 weeks i told them i would be late by and i had 3 visits on 3 different days from their "boys" asking when I am going to pay threatening they can take back my items, which btw they couldn't with out a court order due to the amount already paid. Horrible company the interest rates along with the delivery and installation fees and insurance they charge are insane. If you need an item and your down on your luck go to fair for you instead much better experience avoid brighthouse with all costs! Reviewed on: 21st October 2019

Get what you can afford

I had an awful credit score and only Brighthouse was available to me. I bought a couple of items from them,which I knew I could afford. I paid for the items over 2 years and never missed a payment. This helped my credit score alot. The idea is,if you can't pay for it...don't buy it. The Brighthouse house staff were always polite and helpful. Reviewed on: 10th September 2019

Easy quick uncomplicated

Not to bad

People with really bad credit can apply. Its swings and roundabouts because other companies dont want to help people. Brighthouse should lower there rates. But they know the vulnerable market. They win. Dont apply if u dont like it. Its simple Reviewed on: 24th June 2019

Disgraceful

I signed up to both these and dial a tv during a time I was desperate for basic appliances and due to disability had very little savings. These companies are making £1000 profit on a single item. The credit agreements on these higher purchase items are disgusting Reviewed on: 15th April 2019

Avoid!

Prices almost double than any other retailer for older models. They aren't very clear on the APR that you are receiving on the door it will say 69.9% but when you sign up it's more 99.6% late fees are a rip off! AVOID AVOID AVOID Reviewed on: 18th October 2018

Not sure abou these

Not helpful

No one i speak to have had a very good experience with brighthouse. Charges too high and if you fall behind they are not helpful at all. Made friends and family fall into debt and financial problems. Since been with another company and know now that brighthouse do not have to act the way they do. Praying on vulnerable people!! Reviewed on: 20th June 2018

Wouldn't bother
