Auto renewed, in cooling off period, cancellation fee!

Poor, I had a car hire extension policy to cover my trips to USA with rental cars. Policy auto renewed and I emailed on the renewal date to cancel.. was advised could cancel but £5 cancellation fee. I call this a fee for holding my credit card details in their system.. This was the same day within cooling off period.. and fees shouldn't apply to this situation.. it has not with other policies that this annoying automatic autorenewal enrolment is set when taking a policy.. should be option to select not de-select. Anyway Rebecca Watson who I was conversing with via email, not a very helpful Customer Support agent. I would use another company for future insurance needs and suggest others do the same for bleeding customers money in this way. Reviewed on: 2nd September 2020

Friendly personal service when taking out insurance.

Never had to claim but have recommended others on the basis of the helpful telephone and e-mail contact when amending my policy to include my partner when hiring alone. Reviewed on: 4th September 2019

Works when Needed

Car Hire is an increasingly fraught experience on the continent, and Spain in particular from personal experience. Eversure excess insurance works - I've had to call on it twice and it's been pain free on both occasions. I already recommend it to others. Reviewed on: 4th September 2019

A fair deal

Car hire companies try to rip us off with stupidly high daily 'excess' rates and it is good to have companies like Eversure offering us a much more palatable option. Reviewed on: 4th September 2019

Quick and easy claim resolution

I was charged by a car hire company in Sicily for some scratches on the side of the vehicle. On returning from holiday I phoned Eversure and the matter was dealt with straight away and my excess speedily refunded. Reviewed on: 4th September 2019

Quick easy signup

Having looked at various policy's of this type, I found it very simple and trouble free to take out the insurance. The cost was paid for by not having to take out Hire car company excess in only a few days hire, and has given peace of mind, with a big cost saving. Reviewed on: 4th September 2019
