UK and EU breakdown cover policy. the service I received from Eversure / National breakdown in Spain was beyond a joke, first contacting them at 10am, it took them 6 hours to recover us after sending a car transporter for a 8m 5.5 ton motorhome, we we're left sitting in 36c heat, them left for a further 3.5 hours sitting outside the garage, taken 70 miles away from our motorhome to a closed hostel not a hotel and left sitting in the center of Salamanca from 10.15pm to 12am before being picked up and taken to another hotel a total of 14 hours from first contacting them to getting a bed, bearing in mind they knew I'm disabled pensioner and we had our granddaughter with us, next day stranded in the hotel from checkout at 11.00am till 4.30pm in the hotel reception without any where to get food, and then dropped like a hot potato as the garage claimed our £77,000 motorhome was beyond repair, which was a lie, basically the garage didn't want the job, I had to pay £6,000 recovery cost to the UK, £333 in storage fee, the motorhome was stored in a free unsecure lorry park over a mile away from the garage proving the point garage had no intention in repairs, plus another £1000+ in getting ourselves back home and my complaint took them 15 weeks to look into just to say we was not covered for the breakdown in the first place, breakdown cover that don't cover a breakdown???? With hire car companies hiking their excess levels so much, I felt it worth having the reassurance of a separate car hire excess policy, something I never used to bother with. Eversure came up with a competitive quote for annual cover that was better value than two separate 10 day policies for trips I am planning. Read more Read less

I had a bad experience with them for the breakdown insurance, they renewed my insurance without my approval, and when rejected to renew, they deducted the application fee without my acceptance, and the nice answer that it is mentioned in terms and condition, strongly not recommended. Poor, I had a car hire extension policy to cover my trips to USA with rental cars. Policy auto renewed and I emailed on the renewal date to cancel.. was advised could cancel but £5 cancellation fee. I call this a fee for holding my credit card details in their system.. This was the same day within cooling off period.. and fees shouldn't apply to this situation.. it has not with other policies that this annoying automatic autorenewal enrolment is set when taking a policy.. should be option to select not de-select. Anyway Rebecca Watson who I was conversing with via email, not a very helpful Customer Support agent. I would use another company for future insurance needs and suggest others do the same for bleeding customers money in this way. Read more Read less

Eversure is the one to chose

So so easy. Once I realised this was the best price. The whole process only took 15 minutes from Quote to payment and certificate and t&cs arriving in my inbox.
