Good and bad

While Fidor AG in Germany is highly recommended and has a good range of products and services their newly opened UK operation leaves a lot to be desired. You can not pay salary or benefits into your account by BACS, they do not accept CHAPS payments, they don't have standing orders or direct debits, there are no cheque books or overdrafts, and people regularly complain deposits get mislaid or delayed. Rumor has it they will be introducing these things later this year but until then 5 Stars for their German accounts and 1 Star for their UK accounts. Hence the 3 Star averaged score. Hopefully they wake up and get moving to bring their UK operation up to the standard of their German one! Reviewed on: 12th February 2016
