Had a Rooster card for my 8 year old for a year or so now. Got it to teach her a bit about money and electronic payment. Took a bit of getting used to, but now has app, gets pocket money paid in, and is becoming more confident on understanding price of items, and how to pay by card. Teaching financial skills made easy.

Natwest Rooster account has made teaching financial skills so easy for me and my wards. My wards do not have to carry cash around when travelling to school and I can top up easily when needed. In addition they are learning to save towards stuff they desire. On top of these benefits, i like that the rooster accounts comes with no monthly charges, a perk enjoy by Natwest current account holder. Reviewed on: 17th April 2025

A perfect fit for my 13yr old and us

When my son turned 13 he was so excited to have his card on Apple Pay and I was glad to still receive notifications every time he used it! RoosterMoney has been a great fit for us and so easy to use. The fact it’s free because I have an RBS account is a big plus too. I’ve been telling my friends to go check it out instead of paying for expensive children accounts. Reviewed on: 17th April 2025
