Review of the Pedalcover, Bike & Home Insurance:

Pedalcover is easily the best insurance for cyclists.

If you have looked at getting insurance for your expensive bikes with other companies you will have been dismayed at the high cost per bicycle. When you look at Pedalcover, you will instantly be surprised at the affordability of insuring several high value bikes AND you home. The total will probably be less than you are currently paying for your home alone. This then leads you to wonder how legitimate or reliable this insurance may be, and make you reluctant to leave your long term, well known yet much more expensive companies. Well, I took the plunge, and even though I have yet to find out how smoothly a claim might go (and hopefully won’t need to), every indication is that this is a good company to deal with. Contact is much faster and friendlier than with the big companies, plus they keep in touch with emails relating to aspects of cycling which may be relevant to you. I have no regrets switching to Pedalcover. Reviewed on: 23rd September 2022

great bike cover built into comprehensive contents cover

Does what it says on the tin.

Everything you need and nothing you don't!

Nothing to do with my Bikes, but had to claim for my iPhone which got swamped with sea water, very efficient service,would recommend to anyone! Got more cover for less money! What more could you ask for! Reviewed on: 13th July 2017

A recent Cycle accident was dealt with quickly and with empathy. A full payout for damaged equipent, and a special 'Excess Cover' even paid me back my excess, for a small extra premium. Reviewed on: 13th July 2017

Very good customer service throughout

I have used Pedalcover for two years and am very please to have switched. I have saved several hundreds of pounds on earlier separate costs of home and bike insurance. Process of taking out the insurance was great, with Pedalcover on hand to answer all my questions. Unfortunately, I have also needed to claim within these two years for the theft of a mid-range road bike. Pedalcover were great, more than making up for the poor customer service by Wheelies (AXA's 'expert' bike partner). Pedalcover are easy to get hold of and you tend to deal with specific individuals who manage your case rather than getting passed from pillar to post. Friendly and professional service

While I have not needed to claim on my Pedalcover Home & Bike Insurance, (and hopefully never will), I'm sure any claim would be dealt with in the same friendly and professional manner as when the policy was created. With so much of our day-to-day activity transacted online, it is refreshing and reassuring to deal with a friendly and knowledgable representative and they can be assured of my repeat business.
