Fast and efficient

Awesome insurance company

you only really know how good an insurance company is going to be when you need to make a claim, unfortunately after my recent visit to scotland where my camera and lens were both lost in a river i needed to make a quite large claim. Photoguard were amazing taking only a few days from receipt of my documents to receiving my new goods. Insurance Surprise!

After having many issues and endless phone calls and communications with extended warranty and/or insurance companies for some of my higher end possessions like cars, mountain bike, phones etc I was pleasantly surprised at the ease and professionalism of claiming with Photoguard (Thistle Insurance) I made a claim on my Canon 5d IV and for once I have found an insurance company that don't take the initial stance of your lying and trying it on. After dropping my almost new camera accidentally I was devastated but the ease of claiming with Photoguard has soften the blow to pardon the pun. Within two weeks of initial claim my camera has now been repaired and returned to me from a repair shop of my choice. Excellent customer service from Kevin, Highly recommended. Lovely company with great customer service

I have insured my photography items with photoguard for a few years now. I initially insured my camera for a trip abroad. Once my trip had been completed I got an email to say they had messed up their terms and conditions and I was more than welcome to cancel and get a refund. This was amazing customer service and it has kept me coming back. Adding additional items onto an existing policy is easy. The website is old fashioned but the guys on the phone are always friendly and helpful. Reviewed on: 3rd November 2017

The best insurance company ever!!!

I have two drones and one of them I crashed and I made a claim and they pay me the repair cost and again two weeks later I lost my drone. I was devastated I had to make a claim and they investigated nicely then they excepted my claim and paid me the full money I am telling everybody who has camera Quitman and drone gadgets about this company these companies are very professional and my word the best company I dealt with ever so thank you to them. Quick and easy

Had a genuinely great experience with photoguard. After reading a few sceptical reviews I was worried it would take a while to process and many phone calls. The process took one phone call and 2 emails, within 3 days I have been sent a BACS transfer for the amount to repair (minus excess). Staff have been really professional and prompt, couldn't have asked for more. Reviewed on: 14th September 2017

Amazing swift service!
