Probably one of the worst companies to insure your phone. Lloyds Bank works with ASSURANT which it’s customer service is extremely poor. They take around 3 days to asses the claim. What are we going to do without a phone for so many days? Many people depend on their phones but YOU DO NOT CARE. I would have give you 0 stars if I could. Reviewed on: 4th June 2024

Useless Mobile Phone Insurance provision

Lloyds are being let done by their Mobile Phone insurance - provided by Assurant. If you need a repair you can only use the network of "PocketGeek" stores - and there aren't any in central London, or Edinburgh or many other urban areas, so good luck if you live in a rural area. Of course, you can post your phone for repair, but who can be without their phone for a week ? Total inflexibility, not allowed to go to another repair (not even an Apple store!). I made a complaint to Assurant who rejected it. Just easier for me to go to a local shop, get a new screen done for cash and save the hassle. Maybe I will save paying for the bank account service too ? Reviewed on: 19th January 2024

They are not honest at all. They said the parts should be genuine, but then they work with non-apple authorised workshops that put non-genuine parts. You will get a message forever in the settings, after replacement Reviewed on: 14th September 2023

don't be fooled

all the 5 star reviews are for screen replacement - well any shopping centre/market stall can do that! I sent my broken phone in after reading the description on lloyds website of repair/replace up to £2000, the communication was poor/absent, I then, a few weeks later, get my phone back, the screen replaced, but the fault not fixed. Called and they asked for 'another chance' to fix it, sorry but that's not the service I paid for, so I lodged a complaint with someone who couldn't/wouldn't tell me what other options there were, eventually said one option would be to be given a REFURBED handset. What an absolute con... take £100 from everyone, replace a screen.... don't be mislead.... save your time, stress, and money and claim elsewhere....never again!! Reviewed on: 17th January 2023

Great value phone insurance

I use Lloyds as my phone insurer as I bank with them and its easy to set everything up on the app and website. Great value and customer service was good when I had to make a claim. Reviewed on: 13th September 2022

Poor service and unhelpful

Following a claim made, I had to the then send the phone back twice and was received unfixed. I requested to file a complaint and received a phone call that was completely ineffective and ignored all of my concerns. Very bad customers support. Reviewed on: 8th August 2022

Mobile phone insurance

Very quick and efficient. I broke my screen and couldn't use my phone :-( After sending it off they returned it fixed within the week. The only disappointing thing was that they insisted on wiping all my data when it was completely unnecessary and I lost all my contacts. This was new because when I broke my phone a couple of years before, I got it back with all my data in tact (huge relief) Reviewed on: 1st October 2017
