Caused more problems than they fixed

Sent my phone off for damage to the rear of the device and received it back with scratches to the front screen and damage to the bezel where the repair company pried off the camera housing. Contacted the insurance company and their response was to send a blatantly edited image over from the repair company and to tell me there was a screen protector on my phone (there wasn't) so it couldn't have been damaged and any damage now present must have been caused by me after the repair. If you don't want your insurance company to cause further damage to your device and don't want to be accused of lying go with literally any other insurer that isn't this bunch of clowns. Awful company please avoid

Took nearly a month for them to replace my phone. And when I did receive my phone it’s not fully functional so you’ve given me back a broken phone. When I told them they told me to send my phone back to them for them to look at. But I’m thinking how long are you going to have my phone this time. I can’t be left without a phone due to being disabled and need to contact my carer in case of an emergency so I’m just going to have to make do with my broken iPhone 11 Pro Max they’ve given me…Thankyou. Beware of the small print

Where do I start.. Where do I start it’s taken over Two weeks to get a replacement phone sorted and not at all surprisingly at all ......it’s the wrong spec phone sent out. It’s taken so long to get a phone in the first place to be then sent the wrong spec phone. Especially when it’s on how many bits of proof it says a SPACE GREY iPhone everything I own from Apple is grey and black that’s why I have a space grey phone...Not a gold one!! The disappointment when I finally thought after 14 days of no phone on the top level of cover mind you costing me £17 a month to take 14 days to replace with the wrong spec phone is a poor do really. Especially when my wife had to make a similar claim through her bank got sorted in a matter of days. So I wonder how long it will take you the right phone out?? Another week? Two weeks? Not happy...really go to your bank or another company unless you can do without a phone for a minimum of 2 or 3 weeks or even longer now I guess!!........ not looking good at all...... Also beware as I just found out in the small print that they can just send you out any colour phone they like. All of Apple product I own are space grey or grey and been sent the worst iPhone of all the gold iPhone that no one wants!! The cheapest option for the company never mind what the customer had or insured in the first place you get what we send I was told by not the first agent the second....so basically tough that’s what your getting sort of attitude. So what am I paying your top premium for exactly? 14 days without a phone to be then told tough we have sent you a phone that isn’t the phone You brought and insured with us but it will have to do. It also Amazed me that someone had time flag my review at 8am but still by 12 no one had rang me or replied to my emails but had time to flag a 100% legitimate review of my experience so far strange that!! 3/11 still no response I was promised a call from. A supervisor yesterday but I wasn’t really expecting a call and as with my whole experience so far!! Still no response to any emails It says I’ve been contacted on my review...guess what I haven’t. DO NOT TRUST THIS INSURANCE COMPANY- they don’t even deserve 1 star! I claimed for accidental damage to the screen of my MacBook. This claim got approved and my MacBook collected. After receiving my MacBook they gathered an Apple history and stated that my device was not in full working order prior to taking out the policy. When I asked them to further explain the issues present in the Apple history they brought up various unrelated issues from years ago which resolved themselves and did not require repair at the time. The history included: me being unable to open my files, my charger not working correctly etc. The only way they would go through with the claim was if I provided information that my MacBook had been repaired following the issues in the Apple history. Clearly they don’t realise that most minor issue do not require an insurance claim/repair - more than likely a software update will suffice!! Absolutely ridiculous that I am getting penalised for contacting Apple for support over the years. Seems to me that they will find any excuse not to repair a device which we pay insurance for!!! My MacBook was meant to be returned last week yet I have received no emails updating me on when this will be returned. AWFUL SERVICE!!!! Now they won’t refund my excess- so I have paid several months for a null and void diamond insurance cover and an excess which has led to no repair. Reviewed on: 28th July 2020

I broken my screen when coming out of hospital phoned them straight away the man I spoken to was great told him I’ve just had a tumour removed and I smashed my screen by accident he told me where to go online within hours they accepted my claim and have sent out my phone which it coming tomorrow so 2 days and they sorted it out can’t thank them enough people write bad reviews but at the end of the day lots of claims are fraudulent so they have to do there job anyway thanks guys j x Reviewed on: 17th July 2020

Very poor customer service

Tried to make a claim for a iPad damaged. Didn't reply for weeks, then finally told me that it was unable to meet their criteria due to the site I had bought it off (Amazon UK) had originally sourced the iPad from Hong Kong. Never replied to any of my subsequent emails. AVOID.... Reviewed on: 13th December 2017

They dont accept ebay/paypal receipts

Would never recommend anyone to sign up with trusted insurances. They won't accept paypal receipts for your purchase, rude customer service - treated like a suspect from the start, - They look for any reason whatsoever to deny your claim - That is if they respond to your claim at all, in my case it took a week just to get correspondence started - I'd look elsewhere if you're looking to insure your gadgets Reviewed on: 16th October 2017

Worst financial decision ever

I have had to cancel my policy with them after months of wasting my money thinking my gadgets are insured ..only to be told some crap excuse not to pay when it came to claims. Not to mention they are based in Gibralta no postal address ie everything online .. Cut long story short SCAM ! SCAM! SCAM! Cnt say any Louder.. Your better off insuring with your gadget provider here in the UK, knowing your truly covered and have some one locally obliged and accountable to give you answers when things go wrong.
