Negatives: some of the requirements seemed biased towards a retail mortgage rather than a commercial BTL loan, so to me were strange, as if one-size-fits-all on paperwork. I'm disappointed that you can't choose to set the monthly mortgage payment to a higher 'static' amount and pay off principal on a drip-feed basis: appreciate you can make £1k minimum, but i prefer to accelerate repayment by starting low and eating into loan principal monthly so the repayment amount starts to increase by pennies but on a compound basis.. Lower rate would have been nice: had a lower rate option (even allowing for fees over a fixed term basis) but decided to stay with Vernon given customer support in the early stages and kept fingers crossed that nothing went wrong laterly... luckily it didn't.
