THE MOST stressful experience

Was THE MOST stressful experience caused by incompetence, delays caused us to pay more money, any commissioned you received should have been zoid! Apart from... Apart from 1 individual who tried their very best to help us, I have never dealt with such a disorganised lender. Even our solicitor is who deals with 100s of cases said Saffron were the worst she'd ever had the displeasure to deal with! Says a lot really. Read more Read less

    Counter staff are very friendly and helpful. Savings interest rates are reasonably competitive. Like the 0800 phone number to contact branch and conduct business

    Mutuality should be supported!

    I live in Bedford. Our mutual building society was subsumed into a PLC bank long ago. Saffron and Cambridge BS are the only local mutuals... I live in Bedford.     I was a member years ago then closed my accounts when I needed the money after moving from Birmingham to Portsmouth.and they accepted to reopen...     Regular annual saver account perfect to budgeting

    I find your regular annual saver account invaluable and have held one every year since 2013. Mine pays out each 14th December which is ideal for winter peak expenditure.
