Revolut is an e-money institution which means you can take out an everyday account to manage your money in a range of ways.

You can send, spend, receive and hold a range of currencies. Customers get a physical debit card for everyday spending, a virtual card and a single-use virtual card that resets its details each time you use it.

Easy to use, nice services

Very useful for travelers, easy to exchange € in £ or $ and complete insurance where aboar. Reviewed on: 20th November 2018

Block and close accounts for no reason

Revolut suspends and blocks customers' accounts for no reason (just look on Twitter to see how many complaints they get daily) and refuse to give any explanation or help regarding the funds currently on the account. It is ridiculous that this happens, and a "bank" that for no reason even, after providing all information requested, closes accounts, should not be trusted. Be careful giving them your money! Saved my life!

I spent 5 years battling Maltese banks to open an account and then be able to use it, and Revolut really did save a lot of expats on the island a lot of stress and hassle. BOV has since barred transfers to Revolut, which shows how scared they are of a more customer-focused bank getting in their way. Keep improving, Revolut. Thank you. Reviewed on: 20th November 2018

Best EU Bank

It's the only bank that accepts clients all over the EU, with FREE worldwide transfers, FREE and instant FX, FREE withdrawals, FREE topups via debitcards, and so on. I have had 2 small problems with them, but they handled is correctly! Reviewed on: 20th November 2018

The best thing since TransferWise

Fantastic product really focusing on the user experience

Simple and no complications that you get elsewhere. It was easy to set up and get running, the UI/UX is great in the app and given the rates you get on international spend I really can't see myself using anything else (I've even cancelled other cards that did a "similar" thing). Simply amazing

The international transfer service provided by Revolu is unbeatable. Their forex rates are indeed interbank and I was not able to find another provider that could come close to them. The icing on the cake is the fact that international transfers to any bank account in the world are also fee free. Brilliant UX in the app! Reviewed on: 8th November 2018

Modern International Banking App

Revolut is best for technology savvy users as it takes a bit of getting used to versus walking into a branch and picking up your holiday money. It's completely transparent in forex transactions, the rate and the commission are marketing leading. You can preload currency in advance of a trip or just use it as you require and it'll give you the forex rate at the transaction time. For someone traveling a lot, it's a perfect tool. I've saved 2-3% easily per trip and hedged a load of euros before Brexit form the touch of my phone, it could not be easier. Will be interesting to see if they start offering competitive savings and credit products to give mainstream banks a big kick to improve.
