I have been diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer and have diabetes plus a D.V.T. I have applied for a last year of life pay out... I have been diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer and have diabetes plus a D.V.T. I have applied for a last year of life pay out they have asked for my consultants report which they've had for weeks they then wanted my GP report whom I haven't seen for 7 months and only knows what the consultant tells him. After that it goes to there medical department who has never seen me for assessment the last time I had contact they told me it was with them for 5 days but the previous week was told the same thing which makes it 10 days and I still am no further forward how are they allowed to treat terminly ill people like this when we have paid insurance to have a few pounds we thought we could rely on or am I nieve expecting an insurance company to actually pay out Read more Read less

Terrible customer service
I moved to the USA. Despite months of back and forth I now have zero access to anything to do with my 2 pension policies.... I moved to the USA. Despite months of back and forth I now have zero access to anything to do with my 2 pension policies. I made a complaint, they closed it because they couldnt provide a resolution. Response times are 20 to 25 working days, the customer service is so poor I would never recommend this company. I still don't have access and cant even change my retirement date. Read more Read less

Losing money from pension pot rapidly
Ever since deferring the pension pot it has lost money consistently. At this rate there will be nothing left. Customer service say warning was given... Every email during the claim stage took weeks to get any reply on, the updates were then basic at best. All emails were sent via... Every email during the claim stage took weeks to get any reply on, the updates were then basic at best. All emails were sent via an encrypted email through a third party software which only let you save the email as HTML or EML file, not a regular PDF, meaning they were a file format not supported by a lot of other companies, including the FSCS who I ended up having to go to when Royal London rejected my claim. I would not recommend the company at all, their products and services are extremely poor. Read more Read less
