Brilliant

First time in my live managed to have savings as Credit Union deduct from my salary. It’s a great idea. Love the friendly website / portal - Irwin’s balance and a few transactional items. I was recommended Sheffield Credit Union by a patient that I worked with many years ago, who found value and purpose in their life volunteering for the Union, I had a bad time losing my job, going through divorce, bankruptcy, bereavement and mental illness, the credit union was instrumental in helping me gain savings, faith in myself and my future money management. I’m now in a good job with lots of savings but I still enjoy saving with the credit union, knowing it will help others and continue to grow the Union and I can put something back to help others, as Sheffield Credit Union helped me. Knowledgeable and helpful staff

I joined Sheffield Credit Union many years ago when I was still a student. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They helped me set up my savings account, which allowed me to slowly save what I could. I was able to set up appointments with staff to discuss savings and loans. Sheffield Credit Union Not a last resort

Sheffield Credit Union SCU should never be a last resort but a first port of call. My saving go straight to SCU from source (Payroll) No extra Direct Debit/ Standing Order . On phone or in person the staff will point you in the right direction. Like anything in life don't bury your head in the sand never let it be the last resort. Saving a little gets you into a safer mentality that you are saving and if you need a loan Sheffield Credit Union will help . Reviewed on: 23rd May 2024
