Total waste of time, non existant customer service

I wanted to transfer an ISA from another provider to Trading 212 but was not able to as the bank that I had the ISA with was not on Trading 212's list! Their customer service is non existant as you cannot talk to anyone other than by the chat function and even then it takes ages for a response. As they were not able to do what I wanted, I asked them to delete all my info (NI no, dob, address, copy D/L etc etc) from their records and was very displeased when I was told they could not do so for 7 years due to regulations!!! We are constantly working to expand the list of supported providers, but this process can sometimes take time. Regarding our customer service, our chatbot is programmed to provide the most relevant information as quickly as possible. Even though we are constantly trying to make it better, we understand that live agent support might be needed in certain situations, and we are sorry to hear your interaction with our team didn't meet your expectations If you would like to close your account, we can assist with that or you can do it yourself via the Menu. However, as a regulated broker, we are required by law to keep certain information for a period of 7 years. This is done to comply with the regulations that we follow. Best on the UK market but not perfect

Moved from Freetrade and opened my ISA with Trading212 due to having more stocks, more worldwide markets, no FX fee for overseas stocks, web platform and free S&S ISA. As a long time investor I'm very pleased with the platform. Trading212 are not perfect however, two of my main gripes are: 1. Communication and transparency, which they are continuously working on, still needs to be better. A lot of their key and important communications are on their forum and not social media, they are not promoting themselves as they should. Also transparency when there's downtime or issues which are not logged or centralised somewhere for people to see. Again, you have to browse through the community forum to be aware of things. 2. The trading platform. Trades are done via IB (Interactive Brokers) and they do not own their own platform, hence any new stocks requests from the community which are not on IB won't be able to be added. Also the low volume market orders which are executed via SETSqx are literally anyone's luck when, how and at what price they get executed. Reviewed on: 18th January 2021

my review is firstly is a free platform plenty of choice not as many choices then ig or Hargreaves but they charge a fortune withdrawals is easy and in my account next day no issues for me. Reviewed on: 16th September 2020

Simply the best trading platform

I think Trading 212 is one of the best things to ever happen in my financial journey. The ability to open an ISA account is an added bonus. For me this is the best savings account with far greater returns than the silly bank interest rates. You can build your own investment portfolio that is as diversified as you want. As long as you do your homework and put in the effort to educate yourself about trading then the sky is the limit. Just don't fool yourself and think you can start trading blindly just because it's free and hope to make yourself richer. Reviewed on: 13th November 2019
