Review of the Tymit, Credit Card:

Appalling level of communication and customer service. AVOID!!!

Over 2 weeks ago on 23rd of April I reported two fraudulent unauthorized payments on my Tymit card, in every way available to me (email, messages on the transactions within the app and leaving a voicemail on the number provided on the back of the card). It took Tymit over 48 hours(!) to get back to me and block my card, by which time my card had been nearly maxed out with over £700 of fraudulent unauthorized transactions. It then took another 48 hours to be transferred to the disputes department, who sent me one email, to which I responded straight away, and who have now told me nothing since the 27th April, despite me sending them numerous further emails. This whole process has been so UNBELIEVABLY SLOW and upsetting. My bill is now due today with hundreds of pounds of fraudulent transactions on it and I still cannot get a reply out of Tymit with regards to what I am supposed to do with my bill and where I stand with my claim. This level of communication and customer service for a modern financial firm is appalling. AVOID!!! And they are now refusing to refund ANY of the stolen money because I provided scammers who were claiming to be Tymit with an SMS code which included ‘’We will never ask you to share this code.’’ Those scammers rang me 24 hours after I had informed Tymit of the first fraudulent transactions. It then took Tymit ANOTHER 24 hours to reply to me, and cancel the card, then telling me not to answer any calls claiming to be from them. If it hadn't taken Tymit over 48 hours to block the card and reply to me after my telling you there were fraudulent transactions on the account, then the stolen amount would have been under £45 as opposed to over £740!!!. I'll never use your services again, I'll be warning everyone I can about how appalling Tymit have been in every possible way and I'll be contacting the financial ombudsman. Fantastic new facility for low credit customers

Essentially I'm borrowing from myself, using the tymit booster facility, yet my credit score increases and I'm building confidence in my money management. A handy app with a super UI, speedy customer service and engaging comms from the team mean I can confidently go about my day, not worrying about fees, replies, or surprise bills now I've got some emergency funds in my credit card. Good overall experience

So far I've found Tymit really easy to use and the ability to spread purchases over 3 months is so helpful for budgeting. Amazing product with great features

Been with Tymit for almost 7 months now and it's a great product with amazing features which aren't offered by the other cards I have held. Love the option to pay the purchases over the 3 months without any interest and even over the longer duration as well. Moreover very customer friendly app and changed alot since I have started using. Good customer service and the great app

Worked across Europe when my Virgin card wouldn't. No exchange rate fees and the price you see is in pound sterling straight to your phone. Buying fuel on the A26 in France you see exactly what you spent rather than the £150 they hit you with originally and then credit you back some days later.
