Review of the Tymit, Credit Card:

Appalling level of communication and customer service. AVOID!!!

Over 2 weeks ago on 23rd of April I reported two fraudulent unauthorized payments on my Tymit card, in every way available to me (email, messages on the transactions within the app and leaving a voicemail on the number provided on the back of the card). It took Tymit over 48 hours(!) to get back to me and block my card, by which time my card had been nearly maxed out with over £700 of fraudulent unauthorized transactions. It then took another 48 hours to be transferred to the disputes department, who sent me one email, to which I responded straight away, and who have now told me nothing since the 27th April, despite me sending them numerous further emails. This whole process has been so UNBELIEVABLY SLOW and upsetting. My bill is now due today with hundreds of pounds of fraudulent transactions on it and I still cannot get a reply out of Tymit with regards to what I am supposed to do with my bill and where I stand with my claim. This level of communication and customer service for a modern financial firm is appalling. AVOID!!! And they are now refusing to refund ANY of the stolen money because I provided scammers who were claiming to be Tymit with an SMS code which included ‘’We will never ask you to share this code.’’ Those scammers rang me 24 hours after I had informed Tymit of the first fraudulent transactions. It then took Tymit ANOTHER 24 hours to reply to me, and cancel the card, then telling me not to answer any calls claiming to be from them. If it hadn't taken Tymit over 48 hours to block the card and reply to me after my telling you there were fraudulent transactions on the account, then the stolen amount would have been under £45 as opposed to over £740!!!. I'll never use your services again, I'll be warning everyone I can about how appalling Tymit have been in every possible way and I'll be contacting the financial ombudsman. Its about time....

that the consumer was offered an alternative to the tired old credit cards normally available...... whats not to like about 3 months interest free credit.?..... I now use tymit almost exclusively. Reviewed on: 7th August 2021

Tymit has changed my entire perception of credit cards

I was also so nervous about credit cards but Tymit is so easy to use that it opened my eyes to how credit cards can work. Its flexible and very clear about any and all charges. Easy to use, very transparent

a chance for change

Tymit was the only company willing to help me build my credit and they do it in a great way with their booster account, there cards are amazingly designed and the customer service is second to none. I would highly recommend this card for both good and bad credit types, as with good credit you get an amazing credit card with great features and with bad credit you get a chance to 0rove yourself and have a chance to get a credit limit in the future equal to what you have added as a secured deposit. First Challenger Credit Card

Tymit rethinks credit card borrowing. It’s based on installment plans which you set for each purchase so you see any interest you’ll pay upfront. This avoids getting into a revolving balance trap like other cards are designed to do. Plus, 3 months borrowing it’s always interest free! No expiring offers! Reviewed on: 7th August 2021

Wonderfully easy to use and very transparent

It’s the first time I have used a fractioned payment service like this one and I am really happy about it because I can control all the future payments I owe, with a clear understanding of the costs, and I can plan my finances accordingly.
