Review of the Yorkshire Bank, Business Banking:

Faster Payments ???????

Banked with them for over 20 years. Business Account is taking over 24 hours to clear INCOMING regular Faster Payments like Standing Orders. Little clocks next to these payments saying 'Still going through' - The bank have tried to assure me these are Cleared Funds. Absolute Bollox. I'm paying contractors some mornings and the live feed on the Business Account APP isn't updating until lunch time. I can't even reconcile the account because the live balance isn't correct. 5... Total disaster

Attempting to set up a business account. On the face of it this seemed like a really good idea but having weeks later not completed the process I would not recommend this to anyone! The staff on the phone appear very helpful - however it has been a nightmare setting this account up for the following reasons They took 2 weeks to send through an application They lost my application even though it was handed in with proof of posting at a post office I had to go to Picadilly Circus... Horrific experience over 4 long years

Even after being fed up for so long of their contempt for customers they managed to cock up that , Diabolical service and care not a jot about customers, i really feel their staff have their hands tied, i do not normally post reviews but after 3 strikes hopefully it will serve as a warning to others Reviewed on: 29th October 2016

Useless

About as useful as a sloth in a 100 meter dash. If you want to have a negative effect on your business go near these guys. Absolutely dire service and systems. Before even considering opening an account I suggest calling theme and waiting through the 20+ minute voice mail, then have a discussion with an employee who has no interest in their job ( it's a common theme). Capital raising to purchase a nursing home

assisted a Doctor looking to purchase a nursing home. A facility of £150,000 was raised, the applicants would have lost their interest-only rate had they applied to their mortgagee. The process facility was arranged within a very tight timescale. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

great bank
