Even without Confirmation of Payee (CoP), I thought the form lacked clarity. I wanted to set up an order for a regular saver account, but there was no provision to specify the number of payments to be made. With CoP it might be worth revisiting the form, perhaps with details on the back exactly what is required to set up a standing on line. Otherwise great experience, as always.

Decided to sign up to online with the Chorley because of lock down. It was very straight forward and easy to understand considering doing online banking is new to me. I was sent an ID number through the post and went into my Chorley accounts but I couldn’t see a log out notice which the letter accompanying my ID number said to do but it would log me out after 5 minutes automatically if I wasn’t using the inline service. I found this to be a long time to wait and would have thought probably a couple of minutes would have been enough wait. I rang the next day and spoke to a lovely lady Called Joyce Haywood who was working from home because of the Covid-19 pandemic situation, she was very helpful and asked if there was a menu option which there was so I clicked on it and low and behold was the option to log off. So I feel much happier now that I can log straight out. Thanks for your help Joyce.

CBS pay a decent amount of interest and reward loyal customers. I've found them very efficient, friendly and helpful and going the extra mile to give good service, such that I have written complimenting them previously. I feel they have good leadership and excellent staff. I have been a customer for several years.

Good service for savers.

Good that you have arranged for staff to be able to do their jobs during the pandemic. Good that you have finally set up for BACS funds transfers once accounts have matured. Hopefully you will allow maturing funds to go towards setting up new accounts?
