Avoid at all cost, still need a card reader from the 90s to make transfers and they never work always have a technical problem. Branch can’t make transfers, call handlers can’t make transfers. When you actually manage to transfer the funds yourself, they are held for further checks by the fraud department that don’t speak to customers. I needed to pay a bill and have been left with charges for late Payment because NATIONWIDE won’t release my funds. Customer service staff on the phone are incredibly rude with little or no empathy, one lady said I can’t help the funds won’t be released until further checks so am ending the call, and cut the call off. I was practically crying on the phone as I needed to pay a bill in my own name, so clearly not a scam. I have logged a complaint and opened an account with another back, I can’t be dealing with this stress every time I want to transfer money or pay bills. Read more Read less

I have been with Nationwide for many years and always find them very helpful, and I like the fact that they have such a strong...
