Good customer service.

Good customer service. However only one rate now for credit card 24.9%. Previously had a gold card for good members with more competitive rate. Reviewed on: 12th June 2026

Superb customer service

I have contacted Nationwide when I thought I had been scammed. It was easy to contact their fraud dept.. The customer service agents were knowledgeable and polite. They got me sorted out quickly with a refund and new card. Superb customer service. Reviewed on: 12th June 2026

Nationwide Credit Cards are easy to use and keep track of. The app makes it very easy to pay off in full, or in any amounts, and the list of statements makes it easy to view past statements. I would recommend this. Reviewed on: 12th June 2026

Clear and easy to manage payments

Never had any issues and any time Ive tried to contact customer services theyve been helpful. Very clear how much interest would be applied if balance not paid in full for anyone who would need it. I often get offers for 0% balance transfers so that’s also an option if you needed it. Reviewed on: 11th June 2026

An Ethical Alternative in Mainstream Banking

Nationwide is a great environmentally sound and ethical alternative to the planet-wrecking, consciousness-lacking traditional banks. While they are not as green as, e.g. Triodos or Ecology Building Society, they offer a broader range of services (includind credit cards) and are mainstream - a household name. They also provide a substantial number of local branches, making them easily accessible. Their employees, both online and in branches, are friendly and knowledgeable, always keen to help with any queries or concerns. I have been banking with them for eight years and have been very happy, although more recently I have reduced the number of products I hold with them in favour of even more environmentally and ethically focused providers: Triodos and Ecology Building Society, both of whom I can also highly recommend.
