Always reliable!

I like Nationwide as it is an easy bank to deal with, whether online, via their app or else in-Branch. I find it reassuring that, while my nearest Branch is 18 miles away, I know it's there and not planning to close so is available if I need to do a personal face-to-face transaction Reviewed on: 20th February 2026

I have liked my Nationwide Savings account for a lon...

I have liked my Nationwide Savings account for a long time, but the other day all of my accounts were missing on the app. The customer service was not very reassuring, and simply told me to take my ID to branch. I went to a branch and they unblocked my accounts, but I was left with no access to any of my money for more than 24 hours with no warning and no notification that my accounts had been blocked. Feeling at home with another branch!

I have recently moved, and I have found the new contacts so very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. There is never any feeling that I’m being rather dense with some of the questions I ask, especially over my role as POA for my sister. Reviewed on: 23rd January 2026
