Reassurance with Nationwide

A reliable company with careful lending criteria which provides reassurance in your product (mortgage in my case) being right for you. They have a common sense approach which is very relatable in a sometimes confusing market in my opinion.

House sale almost fell through because Nationwide kept losing paperwork that I sent to them. Took 3 or 4 attempts to send things before they finally got them. I chose nationwide because at the time they were one of the only mortgage providers with whom you could apply online at a good rate. I ended up having to physically go into the bank for them to send my documents

Going with Nationwide for our first ever mortgage was totally stress and pain-free. They were there to help with face to face questions and the product we selected feels like a fair and decent way to have financed our house purchase. The app is very helpful to see where we are and I feel a sense of trust in them as a building society with a new local branch on hand if needed. Excellent!

I’ll keep it short. Have been with Nationwide for years: ISAs, Mortgages and accounts. After several attempts to talk to someone from the Kilmarnock or Irvine branched I gave up. Have subsequently moved to another another ended. Their loss, I also found some staff old fashioned in their values and views.
