Had to return home due to unexpected family bereavement whilst on holiday in March 2025. Initially Admiral were very good in dealing with my claim... Had to return home due to unexpected family bereavement whilst on holiday in March 2025. Initially Admiral were very good in dealing with my claim but unfortunately on my return they have kept asking for more info and documentation, In particular some of the info requested is irrelevant to the claim and very personal to the individual who passed away. I have not kept me informed and have been left seriously out of pocket for cutting the holiday short and the expenditure for additional flights back home. Read more Read less

Waiting 15 months for my claim to be settled still is not sorted apparently it’s in the final stage it’s taken them 8 Weeks to...     Absolutely Appalling Experience – Avoid Admiral at All Costs I’ve had a truly awful experience with Admiral and I feel compelled to warn others before... Absolutely Appalling Experience – Avoid Admiral at All Costs I’ve had a truly awful experience with Admiral and I feel compelled to warn others before they fall into the same trap. A few weeks ago, someone hit my parked car — I wasn’t even in the vehicle — and I did the right thing by reporting it. Instead of support, I was met with interrogation. The woman I spoke to on the phone asked if there were any other marks on the car, and I mentioned two minor scuffs. She casually said I should have reported these previously — something I was completely unaware of. She did not explain that this would result in any consequences, let alone a large, unexpected payment being taken from my account without any notice whatsoever. Admiral has since withdrawn a substantial amount of money from me, leaving me in financial difficulty, and they’ve shown zero remorse or empathy. I lodged a complaint, hoping someone might take it seriously, but I was met with the same dismissive attitude. I told them clearly how this situation has impacted me financially and emotionally, and they could not have cared less. To make matters worse, they even had the audacity to ask if I wanted to renew my policy. Absolutely not! After the way I’ve been treated, I will never use Admiral again and I’ll be telling everyone I know to avoid them. They claim they “notified” me about the charge — but I received no email or formal communication, and they have failed to provide any proof. I’m shocked at how they treat their customers, especially when the accident wasn’t even my fault. Yet somehow, I’ve ended up paying the price. If you’re considering Admiral for your car insurance, think twice. If you ever get into an accident, even when you’re parked and not at fault, they’ll look for any excuse to raise your premium and squeeze more money out of you. They don’t care about people — just profit. Avoid at all costs. Read more Read less

    Do not use this company!!

    I joined admiral littlebox in March after having been driving for 1 year. They offered the cheapest quote and due to only having 1 years... I joined admiral littlebox in March after having been driving for 1 year. They offered the cheapest quote and due to only having 1 years no claims it was expensive to not get a blackbox. However, whilst last year I had a constantly high rating with my blackbox in the first 3 months with admiral my feedback has been rated poor. I have 5* speeding 4* smoothness and 1* night driving. I have now after 3 months received an email at 8:30 in the evening telling me my insurance will be cancelled in 7 days. You dont get any kind of warning they just give you a 7 days notice that it will be cancelled. Even when I was at uni and didnt have my car my score remained as poor despite not driving! This company is a complete rip off! If I cancel my insurance before they do i have to pay £160. £60 for cancelling and £100 for the deactivation of my blackbox which again is just unnecessary amount of money. I will never be using admiral for insurance again and I will warn all others to not use this company either. Read more Read less
