Best Late Life Mortgage deal.

I luckily took out a re-mortgage of my home with Nationwide. There were no fees payable such as survey fees, application fees, none at all. And I got an interest rate below 4% before rates started to increase a few months back. I checked out several providers of late life mortgages but all the others charged various fees. Nationwide was the only lender I found which was fee free. Reviewed on: 1st June 2023

Happy with my experience

Good value

Our fixed rate mortgage was very good value for money online 5 years ago and they have been great with switching to a new deal this year which hasn't been a scary increase. Lots of good offers, online banking means we've been able to manage over payments with Reese when we could afford it. Nationwide are always sending useful information about new products broader banking issues, situations nationally. Reviewed on: 9th March 2023

Best mortgage options

Nationwide was our Best choice, financially, when we bought our first home and they've been brilliant ever since. We've recently setup a new 5 year fixed mortgage with Nationwide after the previous two year fixed rate deal expired and the application process was very smooth and hassle-free. Accessing the mortgage online has also been super easy and setting up extra payments via Strive has been problem free (so far). Reviewed on: 7th March 2023

great banking service

No better choice

Customer service is always excellent. Never sat waiting on the end of a phone for long if we have to call. Most things can be done online & or via the app. Happy in the knowledge they are sensible lenders & wont let you over commit & always have plenty of options to consider. The flexibility of the product is good in terms of over payments, payment holidays etc. the only disappointing aspect is over payments can no longer be borrowed back in a lump some, which was a great feature on some of their previous products.
