I wanted to close my account because I needed the money. I was told there would be a charge to transfer my money by bank... I wanted to close my account because I needed the money. I was told there would be a charge to transfer my money by bank transfer or no charge if I received a check (Smart money not so smart as it won't accept U.K. spelling!!.). They only send checks second class post which means it took 10 days from the date the check was issued until it cleared into my bank account.
