SVR not come down after 3 interest rate cuts. SVR not come down after 3 interest rate cuts. Savings rates have come down. SVR goes up immediately interest rates go up. Gross profiteering imo. Reviewed on: 25th March 2025

These guys have stuck by us through a tough process from the beginning of our self build right through to completion. It's impossible to portray in a small review piece what they've done, but they were the only lender that would help us being so remote (Orkney) and they facilitated our dream. Lana Beech was our advisor throughout, she's experienced me at my best and at my worst and I can never really thank her properly other than to tell everyone through this review process how her hard work and efforts facilitated what was the most stressful experience of our lives. Complicated mortgage products made understandable.

As a first time self-builder the task before you can be daunting, particularly when purchase finance against existing property is involved even before the self-build elements get started. No need to worry, Lana will show you the way in a clear, concise and friendly fashion. Always quick to respond with positivity and wit, the whole organisation has been a joy to deal with. I was delighted to be offered a mortgage with Hanley...

I was delighted to be offered a mortgage with Hanley economic when the home I had rented for 42 years was sold to developers.. As I was 85 at the time many Banks and building societies would not offer me a loan Hanley 's came to the rescue with a lifetime mortgage Now I am happily settled and enjoying life. Since purchasing a mortgage from Hanley I have been vey satisfied with the customer care received, whenever I have called customer services I’ve never waited more than a minute to speak with a customer service representative. I have always the customer service representatives to be very polite, understanding and extremely helpful indeed.
