I’ve been banking with nationwide for over 20 years and their customer service is excellent and the loyalty share is a welcome bonus. Reviewed on: 23rd January 2026

Book v Card.

Book v Card. Prefer the book, can keep a running record of how things are. Card - no ongoing record, too many bits of paper. yes they will ghive a small print - but how can you have 2 31 dec in 1 year? was told that they send statements out? only had 1 when it went onto card! web site states that they have not sent any statements for a few years! how can you know what they have informed HMRC about that you are unaware of? how can a small statement show so many IC (Interest and charges) when interest is only shown once a year? with a book you can keep track. I have been a customer of Nationwide since the days of Anglia , still the same friendly bank providing a great range of services. They reward loyalty and give good interest on savings a good bank to be with. Reviewed on: 2nd April 2025

Dreadful

Been with Nationwide over 45 years, another example of a loyal customer receiving a rubbish interest rate, so much for loyalty. Closed my account and opened one with Yorkshire. Reviewed on: 26th March 2023
