Review of the Avanti Travel Insurance, Travel Insurance:

Not good for changes to health

All medical cover is suspended if a hospital or GP decides to investigate a condition. Whilst that is going on you will have no medical cover even if the new condition is totally unrelated. i.e an investigation for cancer will preclude any heart issues. Once out of the 14 day cooling off period you get no refund. Reviewed on: 26th March 2024

Making a claim

I am currently in the process of making a claim for a cancelled holiday. I am hoping it will be resolved soon but I have been impressed with the helpfulness of the staff I have spoken to on the phone. Reviewed on: 4th October 2021
