Cheaper travel insurance

both of us aged around 80 wanted 10 travel insurance to Malta. Post Office quoted £250. Looked at MSE reviews on travel insurance and Avanti was on their list. Got insurance with Avanti for £104. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

Not good for changes to health

All medical cover is suspended if a hospital or GP decides to investigate a condition. Whilst that is going on you will have no medical cover even if the new condition is totally unrelated. i.e an investigation for cancer will preclude any heart issues. Once out of the 14 day cooling off period you get no refund. Reviewed on: 26th March 2024

After 5 Repeat 5 MONTHS, this excuse for an Insurance Company, has partially settled our claim. They are an absolute disgrace to deal with. Their communication is dire, compassion is ZERO and they just don’t give a toss about their customers We are 77 year Old customers, who have been treated abysmally, throughout this drawn out saga GO ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR HOLIDAY INSURANCE Reviewed on: 18th March 2024

Awful experience with this Company

I had an accident in Spain and made a claim of £385 less £150 excess. This was for hospital fees and taxis. I have just been advised that none of this claim will be paid. What is the point of this policy ? Don't wish to award any stars as haven't had anything from this policy but that doesn't seem to be an option. Reviewed on: 25th November 2023

Slick sales awful on claims

Good price very slick process on selling the in surance but what they don't tell you is that they use a third party claims management Company called CSA (csal) who are truly awful and rate a 1.3 on trustpilot. Reviewed on: 9th November 2023
