A BANK THAT DECEIVES ITS CUSTOMERS - STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK

I applied for a barclays business credit card only for the cashback. However, it's been my biggest mistake. Never again. Their app and their online banking will show different outstanding balance which is very misleading and confusing. I have never in my life paid purchase interest on my credit cards as I always clear the balance end of the month. However, with this bank they will show different amounts on the App vs Online banking. So you may think you cleared the balance as the app shows no outstanding balance but after a while you will realise you owe them over £500. Please apply for any other bank EXCEPT BARCLAYS. The app doesn't work, direct debit doesn't automatically cover your first payment, you can only phone them - there's no email or easy online form for contact. Our app shows zero balance, yet we're hounded for payment on an account we've a direct debit set up for. We've wasted hours of time, just avoid. Reviewed on: 13th June 2024

Don't rely on this card for online purchasing

This card consistently fails to allow you to use it for online purchasing, The customer service is very poor and often you will get cut off mid talk and they do not call you back. I am moving my company to Capital on Tap because I don't have the abilty to spend triple the amount of time it takes to make a purchase online, even for sites that the card has previously been used for, eg annual subscriptions. Worst Card Ever

I am convinced the positive reviews on here are probably from employees. The Barclaycard Business card is one of the worst credit cards I have encountered in my life. Unfortunately I have to resort in falling back on my own personal cards for business purposes as the majority of transactions fail. Don't even think about using this card for a secure source to pay for third party online services as it fails, transactions constantly failing not reliable at all. Don't even get me started on the pitiful app. Why would you not have the basic functionality to show the full card balance rather than the monthly running balance. Why would you not allow your customers to not be able to pay their credit card from within your app. The whole thing is just a painful product and service to use. I would not recommend at all. multiple issues glad i still have MBNA card to fall back on

where do. istart !! 3d authentication is a nightmare . constantly get transactions rejected. retailer say its them bcard says its not . ocassionally run out of credit. as I cant see remaining balance on app! have to go online to get full details .. real hassle for a busy small business owner. . I asked for a credit increase and it was going to involve the 3rd degree, despite clearing balance every month i only use ithis card because of 1 percent back otherwise it would be in the bin. Thank God I have kept my MBNA card otherwise I'd be stuffed . If you need a reliable credit card steer clear of this shower !! Reviewed on: 14th May 2023

Charge you for the privilege of having it but half the time their app and phones don't work then they complain at you for not paying your bill. Don't bother!! Shop elsewhere Reviewed on: 30th August 2022
