I used Barclaycard to transfer money from another cr...

I used Barclaycard to transfer money from another credit card following the rise in prices due to the sanctions by Donald Trump in America. I was able to set up a direct debit for the full amount for each monthly statement. Barclaycard also inform me before the direct debit is paid to check that I have sufficient funds to pay it. The barclaycard cash back credit card is easy to use...

The barclaycard cash back credit card is easy to use however i do find the app confusing at times as it’s not always clear what you can or can’t do, for example transfer the balance. However I find the interest charges very fair and the customer service good Reviewed on: 14th July 2025

Barclaycard has MY money, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Over £200 of my money kept by Barclays due to expiry of freedom rewards system and lack of notification (email only which ended up in spam, no other notification other than an email!). No mention of the change on paper or online statements (which still showed the points long after the schemed ended, no mention of it on the freedom rewards website or in the mobile app) No help from Customer services, they simply repeat "We sent you an email" and do not listen or help. Simply an email to tell their customers they have a new scheme is not enough - firstly they have more than one comms channel they could use and secondly they deliberately made that message vague - it should early on have said "you will loose the monetary value of your points unless you take action". Simple. The fact Barclaycard didn't try very hard to get that message across speaks volumes...nice way for them to avoid paying customers what they owe them.. Do a bit of research on how high up the table of poor customer services this company comes and choose more wisely than I did .... AVOID AVOID AVOID. Reviewed on: 18th August 2024
