They can’t be bothered to do it themselves so pass you off onto a company called Optima, which isn’t made clear in the initial process....     Charitable Contribution

    I was impressed the fixed rate bond we offered meant that NBS would also donate to two charities supporting great causes (Shelter and Emmanuel House).... One of the charities was local to the NBS community and focussed on homelessness which is an issue that affects Nottingham (and other towns nearby). I felt like we made a real difference. Myself and my family were searching for our forever home and had been rejected by a number of the large banks, even those that we had been customers of for nearly two decades. We felt like we were being treated like a number and that decisions were being made about us from a spreadsheet rather than as a unique case. That wasn't the case with Nottingham Building Society who provided us with options when no-one else would and allowed us to take out a mortgage that enabled us to get our forever home.
