I've been with Diamond for 5 years and never faulted them. They are lovely to speak with on the phone and are always able to beat any cheaper quotes I get as I am a loyal customer. Reviewed on: 1st September 2017

Expensive renewal

Car Accident, someone you can rely on x

After a car accident away from home I contacted my insurers Diamond. Within minutes of my call I received a call back from their polite and curteous staff who even although I was in the Scottish Highlands in the middle of nowhere they had a breakdown driver with me extremely quickly who assisted me to get to a local Garage (with all my ids and luggage) in the nearest town. Avoid at all costs

I had an accident on the 27th of July from the moment I called diamond I had nothing but total inconvenience. The customer service is appalling. Nothing is ever actioned when they say they will. Escalating concerns to managers doesn't resolve any issues you have. When you have to make a claim it is extremely stressful, I've been in floods of tears as I am promised things but nothing is actioned accordingly. Unfair

Not very understanding when get into financial trouble. I had an unexpected expense that meant I couldn't pay my insurance until the following week and was told I'd need to pay the money (they even told me to borrow from friends or family) otherwise my insurance would be cancelled and I wouldn't be covered. Claim issue

I had a minor crash in March which was my fault, the company are lovely but did not liase with the third party very well at first, I have had no more third party letters so I think all is ok but I have still not had any confirmation that the claim has been settled which would be nice to put my mind at rest.
