Good savings rates with excellent ethics

After spending quite a bit of time reviewing available ethical savings accounts, the Ecology Building Society regular saver account came out with one of the best rates whilst meeting all the ethical criteria i was concerned about. It also seemed a good longer term option as it wasn't just an introductory rate that would drop to near-zero after 12 months like certain competitor's offerings! Reviewed on: 10th April 2021

Honours its pledges

It is pleasing to see that the Ecology Building Society honours its pledges in that, at a time of ultra-low interest rates, it guarantees a minimum interest rate of 1% per annum to its loyal members. Reviewed on: 9th April 2021

I've been saving with the Ecology Building Society for almost 40 years and have always appreciated the friendly, personal help from staff (no endless automatic labyrinth.) and peace of mind in knowing that my money is being invested in positive projects that don't contradict my principles.
