First off, their prices are extremely expensive, far higher than competitors for the same level of coverage. Trying to contact customer service is a nightmare. On multiple occasions, I was stuck in a queue for over two hours, and when I finally got through, no one could actually help me—just endless transferring and vague responses. I took out a policy in January, paying an £800 deposit, but when I decided to cancel just a month later, they charged me an extra £100, despite only being insured for one month! There was no clear explanation, just more frustration. To make things worse, their system is confusing and difficult to navigate, making even basic tasks unnecessarily complicated. The insurance; got you covered is refusing to pay cos they are waiting for the police report. The police said it could take 2-3 months cos they are waiting for cps. The dna was found on the airbags but insurers insist on the police report before they can progress with the claim. My son is still paying £234 monthly subs even though the car was a write off. We sent an official complaint and Cma has directed us to the insurance/ police. The police cannot produce the report because the perpetrator said no comments. I got a quote from Money Supermarket, I had to call 'Not Got You Covered' to confirm the quote with them and spoken to two Roadmen who both appeared to neither want to be at work or deal with members of the public. Both of them told me to do the payment online and I explained that the website was saying I had to call up and pay over the phone. Neither of them were helpful and told me that they wouldn't insure me because I'm a Social Worker. I've never heard such discriminative bullsh*t in my life. Don't offer quotes that you can't uphold!
