ALL historical medical issues should be mentioned

I didn't realise at first that all historical medical issues need to be mentioned because the way the questions are asked it implies that only issues in the last two years need to be mentioned. I was disappointed that these old issues that have been dealt with and have no effect on my health now have resulted in a higher premium and a significantly higher excess. The premium is still similar to other quotes though. On recieving the policy details I see that there is an added bonus of outpatient non emergency medical services. Reviewed on: 10th October 2024

Genuine health travel insurance on offer.

Being elderly, both my wife & I with health issues found it impossible to get appropriate insurance to travel, despite most insurers claiming to offer cover. However, a friend recommended I try 'Holiday Safe', who responded with the elusive quote unobtainable anywhere else . Reviewed on: 24th September 2024

I had to go into hospital in France in January 2024...

I had to go into hospital in France in January 2024 - initially A&E in Moutiers and then transferred to a private hospital in Chambery. Holidaysafe could not have been more helpful. Everything was dealt with efficiently and quickly - they dealt directly with the hospitals and quickly refunded the ambulance costs for the transfer between hospitals that I had paid myself.
