Great credit card

Premier World Elite Credit Card

Excellent credit card with great rewards and had a brilliant experience with HSBC Premier customer service (answered straight away, dealt with my enquiry immediately). Only slight improvement would be a more competitive fee. The World Elite credit card at Lloyds is slightly cheaper and offers very similar benefits; I stuck with HSBC because I've been with them for years but ideally the additional cardholder fee would be waived as a minimum. https://www.hsbc.co.uk/credit-cards/premier-credit-cards/ Enjoy complimentary global Wi-Fi access to millions of Wi-Fi networks at key business and travel venues in more than 120 countries or regions with iPass (in reality the iPass app drains ones mobile phone battery and doesn't work when you need it to work on airlines WiFi) false advert as so many airlines I tried and none accepts iPass. except maybe expensive airline eg Singapore Airline LoungeKey (in reality many airports lounge are not working, if one works it is situated very hidden/far away) 12 months complimentary Expedia+ Gold membership (rubbish expedia Gold membership) can't even find flights to Tokyo and can't even give competitive quotation of flights. Acceptable service and satisfactory range of products

Generally their overall customer service has been acceptable, over the last 10-15 years they have definitely been superseded with the introduction of innovative banks like First Direct and Metro Bank. They need to improve their telephone service and phone app, and certainly their ethical and moral stance in what they invest in. Reviewed on: 7th May 2017

No problems

Not had any issues with this card, but I no longer carry it around as I like the added value I get with my AMEX card, so tend to use that as my go-to option. Also prefer keeping all of my credit spend on one card so that I can better track it. Reviewed on: 21st April 2016

Reliable

I enquires re this card due to a promotional offer being offered. It works well and has been reliable but a few more unexpected perks would be nicer. Was given a higher credit limit than requested though. Reviewed on: 9th March 2016
