Shocking

Exorbitant amount of money for 1 year insurance.

I had a Tyre and Rim that needed to be replaced. When I joined they said the payment is monthly, like anywhere else in the world. Now, upon selling my vehicle I have to still pay almost £800. It is ridiculous. Reviewed on: 31st January 2023

Rude, incompetent, always look for ways to charge you more

I've been with a number of insurance companies over the years and none of the have been as rude or incompetent as this one. The most recent issue has been that they stated I cancelled my direct debit with them, when I definitely did not, and then proceeded to try to charge me a late fee. I checked with my bank and they NEVER received any such request. When I phoned insure2drive up about this they were rude and were trying to make it out to be my fault when they didn't even send the request to the bank. I'm pretty sure insure2drive have more reason to lie than NatWest seeing as they get an extra payment out of it. DO NOT insure with this company, you will regret it later as I have done. Scam artists

Insure2Drive have dreamt up a new little wheeze to rip off their customers. Try and order a Green Card to go to France in the first week of April and they will say ok, then ring you back 24 hours later and demand £25 for the pleasure. So if you go on a day trip and then a couple of weekends or a summer holiday, your policy is now £100 more than they quoted. They CLAIM to provide no cost cover in Europe but that us clearly a carefully worded porky pie since it is going to cost you £25 extra EVERYTIME post Brexit unless a deal is signed which looks unlikely. AVOID these con merchants and pay a little more for a reputeable company. Reviewed on: 21st March 2019

Efficient and fair

I insured our BMW X5 with Insure2Drive a few months before the car sadly got stolen. It was retrieved (in Lithuania) but repatriation took long. Throughout the process Insure2Drive has been efficient and fair in their dealings with us - eventually settling the value of the car rather than let us wait for the slow repatriation process. scammers

They cancelled my 7 year NCB 2 years ago after only one claim, put up my premium. Later when I recently changed my European licence to a British one they put up my premium again saying i am classified as a new driver which was a lie and "if i don't pay over the phone NOW they'll cancel my current ncb" which was another lie as they had no right to do so. They later said "Oh we meant this year NCB not last year one" which was another lie. When i emailed them and said I was not happy with this they did not even respond for weeks and then just refused to return the excessive payment and did not even explain what it was for. I then cancelled my insurance with them and they would not even send me my current NCB. Absolute liars, scammers. Be careful. Reviewed on: 25th November 2016

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!!!!!!!! Called both Go Girl and Insure 2 Drive on different numbers only to be put through to the same call centre and the same person who was just as unhelpful as previous! Look at Go Girl reviews if you do not believe me. Reviewed on: 11th September 2016
