Be aware of £45 cancellation fee

Be aware of £45 cancellation fee, which on a self-managed online policy feels excessive. When changing my car, their new quote was around £300 more than any competitors, making the cancellation fee feel like a money-making exercise rather than a genuine admin charge. Excellent Insurance Cover

This year I got RAC car insurance which included breakdown cover for a very reasonable price. I chose them because of my son's experience with their breakdown cover which he says is second to none. Reviewed on: 20th August 2026

RAC car insurance are great

First car insurance in a while I havent had to change yearly they are affordable and reasonable when I found a quote else where they brought the insurance down, also been so helpful if I have needed to call them, app is so easy to use and I have breakdown with them too and on call out their team is so friendly and helpful Reviewed on: 20th August 2026

Excellent RAC car insurance renewal.

Purchased car insurance from them and just renewed it. On line service but very competitive and easy to use. The price for the second year actually was reduced for the same level of cover which in itself it a breath of fresh air. Communication throughout was very good and the renewal offer was provided in good time and with clarity. Reviewed on: 20th August 2026
