As someone who has been using metro bank for only a few years, I have been quite pleased with my experience. Under them I have opened a young savers account, as well as an adult over 18 account, and since then there have been no issues with my account or setting it up. Any issues that i may have had with my card, where money was taken has been instantly resolved, with a quick phone call or in store visit. The rewards on their young savers account are also particularly handy, and provide a strong incentive to save. Overall the customer service and the company itself are very good and trustworthy. Only problems I may have, is the changing in their opening times, which could make it slightly inconveniencing in some cases, but I am yet to have a truly bad experience with Metro Bank Reviewed on: 25th May 2024

Great young savers account!

I didn't expect to be happy with a bank as much as I am with Metro. The transparency and control over your young ones finances is brilliant. I would highly recommend Metro as a first choise of bank not just for this service, but generally amazing banking. You can print out a new card in any branch and the working hours are out of space. Above and beyond

MetroBank have made banking a really special experience for my kids, including giving a birthday card and chocolates when opening an account on the child's 11th birthday, a vault tour, and the fun extras like the change machine and lollipops. Amazing for Young People
