As someone who has been using metro bank for only a few years, I have been quite pleased with my experience. Under them I have opened a young savers account, as well as an adult over 18 account, and since then there have been no issues with my account or setting it up. Any issues that i may have had with my card, where money was taken has been instantly resolved, with a quick phone call or in store visit.
