About this product

Plum works by linking to your bank account using Open Banking and analysing your incomings and outgoings to look for areas where money can be saved. It then sets this money aside automatically, adjusting to your spend and what you can afford.

Excellent app for helping to save

I've been using Plum for a year and a half and it has helped me greatly in saving up money that I would otherwise most likely spend. By taking small amounts out of my account weekly, based on how much I have in there and other rules that I can set, it is a great way to save around a month's earnings over the course of a year for whenever you need it most. Plum also provides a better interest rate than my regular bank account as well as investment opportunities and other ways to make your money go further and whenever you need to withdraw your money out, it's a quick and easy process, all done in the same day. I’ve saved up enough to put a deposit on a house and...

I’ve saved up enough to put a deposit on a house and buy a campervan using plum. It’s great that it just chins away in the background without me giving it much thought so I have peace of mind knowing that I’m saving and I don’t have to do anything! I also love the fun games that they have - like the “rainy day” fund and the 52 weeks a year challenge. It makes me want to save! also having the pots with targets that I can name is super incentivising for me to keep saving and means that I feel I can splurge on a treat for me when I reach the goal as I have earned it! From saving to beginner investment

There's nothing not to like!

I've had a great experience with Plum so far. The automation means I don't have to think about it, and the investment/saving choices range are fantastic. So far I've had returns on my investments that are exceeding my expectations. It's also kind of fun and game like, which I appreciate. Reviewed on: 9th April 2024
