Handy card for USA but dreadful exchange rate to top it up use it again

I used this card for a trip to the USA, the exchange rate was competative, and found it delightfully easy to use as it was accepted almost everywhere I went, such as hotels, restaurants, shops, supermarkets and pubs. The only place I found not accepting this card was petrol stations. The big dissapointment is that when I went to top it up the rate was over 10% LOWER that the best deal for cash. that means a whopping £100 difference in £1000. I am not using it again..... Popped into the PO

Easy ordering

I always buy my travel money from the post office. I order in the post office the amount i need and pick it up 48 hours later. Great rates of exchange . Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Very easy transaction

I needed some currency to take away with me and I chose to compare online and found that the post office was very competitive and also did by back if we needed to change any we brought back.They impressed me also as they didnt just stock high value notes and I was able to get lower value notes which is great and handy if you need to buy a drink or something inexpensive when you land abroad.I will definately use the post office again! Convenient but beware using online services

I tend to use the Post Office to buy foreign currency before travelling as I find their rates reasonable and their locations are convenient for me. However, I recently bought 500 euros from them online to collect in person and despite requesting low value notes I was given 50 euro notes. So I would advise caution if you need your currency in specific denominations. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

I find that exchanging travel money with the post office is very easy and efficent

I love to travel and yearly I go to the Caribbean for 2 weeks. And I always search the internet looking for the best deals to buy eastern Caribbean currency and I always find that the Post Office has one of the best rates going. I love the simplicity of being able to order your money online and collecting it at the post office at your chosen delivery date. good value and trustworthy

You can't really go wrong with getting your travel money from the post office. The rates are always competitive, they often put up offers which gives you one of the best exchange rates and they are trustworthy. No problems. Reviewed on: 9th August 2015
