Recently took out a post office isa by transferring from another bank. I asked some questions by secure message as they request but whilst waiting for an answer have recently transferred this years isa allowance but for days later have no idea where my money is and after 2 weeks am still waiting an answer to my secure message as I am so confused. Wish I had looked at reviews before opening this but that’s my own fault. One thing is for sure, once I track down my missing £20k (I presume it’ll show eventually) I am closing this account immediately and transferring it elsewhere (already open and waiting). Terrible customer service to just ignore you. Shame on you Post office/Bank of Ireland, Disgusted with you!!! Read more Read less

No stars - Avoid, avoid, avoid No stars - not one star - the inability to give 0 stars artificially boosts their overall score. Had to cancel flights because of a cancer diagnosis after booking and taking out insurance. It has taken 9 weeks to settle the claim despite being straightforward with medical evidence etc all presented within the first two weeks. Passed from one claims handler to the next, some couldn't understand the medical reports, initial one failed to send us the crucial claims document - which was only sent 8 weeks after the claim was initiated - and Collinson kept asking for information that banks and airlines do not ordinarily make available. This despite several long phone calls and email exchanges. Left feeling that they will try anything to avoid paying out. Read more Read less

They said they can't repair the car as repair will cost more than value of car so, we opt for car money and its been 3 months since we put the claim and still has not been sorted. We were referred to total-loss team which was dealing with 3rd party insurer but we had to contact the insurance by ourselves to provide them with letter. It felt like we were doing more than their job. More than 2 weeks before we were said that 3rd party made a counter offer and we were waiting for money but when I chased them, they said 3rd party denied to release any fund so we have been referred back to post office. He had witness who provided all the details of accident but still they could not retrieve claim money from 3rd party insurer. Post office insurance company has useless staff, If u call them none of the staff has clue which department to put u through so they will pretend to transfer until phone gets cut. It's been very stressful and frustrating at the same time. Pay little more and get nicer insurer than having this insurance company. Read more Read less

Opened an online saver, took 2 weeks to get a wotking PIN. Then tried to transfer money from the nominated account and got message saying 'don't allow transfers to this type of account'. Tried a different bank and same message. Rang up and got a foreign call centre with unhelpful strong accent and lack of knowledge. Having now read other feedback will be putting my money elsewhere.
