POST OFFICE HAVE STOL.EN MY MONEY.

I am currently trying to withdraw £6,000 in matured bonds, but post office are holding onto it, and refuse to give it back. They have essentially stolen my money. Their customer service is an abomination. All they keep saying is that their particular department doesn't have access to customer accounts. Apparently, they've never heard of forwarding emails to the department that does have access. I have now had to contact the financial ombudsman, who i am not impressed with, so far, either. They allow post office too much time to mess you about. Avoid the post office accounts, like you would avoid the plague. Reviewed on: 12th November 2023

No on-line application, no correct instruction

The application via the PO is painful and archaic. Upon maturity I filled out an archaic form to not continue - it was not prcessed. I also was able to go on line to advise the same action despite this I received a letter saying were glad you are continuing. Finally after a lengthy phone call they refunded my matured investment - what a painful company deal with at your peril. Reviewed on: 7th February 2022
