Revolut is an e-money institution which means you can take out an everyday account to manage your money in a range of ways.

You can send, spend, receive and hold a range of currencies. Customers get a physical debit card for everyday spending, a virtual card and a single-use virtual card that resets its details each time you use it.

Review of the Revolut, Personal Account:

Great - not my favourite bank, but my favourite travel companion.

Revolut is really great, and so is their customer support. I'm an expat, having moved from Germany to UK, commuting the first three months, and I don't know how I would have done it without Revolut. If you need to manage money in more than one currency, Revolut is clearly the best. Only drawback is that transactions sometimes take relatively long (compared to UK standards), as well as customer support availability. They also promise a lot of huge features, but rarely deliver in time. They recently gained Eestonian bank license but that didn't have any real consequences, yet. So as my title says, Revolut is not my favourite bank, but my favourite travel companion. Reviewed on: 25th January 2019

Customer service

Customer service is poor because I lost my phone on holiday one time and they blocked my card for suspicious transactions and I could not get back into my Revolut account because I needed a verification code for a text message off a phone that lost it was very stressful Reviewed on: 26th January 2025

Revolut is the outstanding card for traveling !

Revolut is the best service I have had for my banking ! I just love it !! I have had not problems every! I was starving in madegasgar one Sunday and found a atm ! I used my Revolut card to get local money and eat ! If it works in madegasgar it will work anywhere ! I always travel with my Revolut card around the world ! I can change my money any time in my phone ! My best and preferred card for daily shopping and travel around the world !! I only recommend Revolut ! So pleased it is now a bank !
