Six days without my business income unresolved bug...

Six days without my business income — unresolved bug, no workable alternative For six days, I could not access my main business income through Wise. I had people and bills to pay, but the verification process required to restore access was broken. The form repeatedly froze between pages two and three, returned me to the beginning and displayed a “Missing token” error. I was ready to complete the checks. The problem was in Wise’s system, and I could not fix it myself. I followed their troubleshooting advice and tried different browsers, devices and private browsing. I repeatedly called and emailed, explained the financial urgency and asked for manual verification or another secure way to submit my information. I was told the issue had been escalated, but after six days I still had no working solution or clear timeframe. I also had to chase a promised callback. Eventually, I had to request that the money be returned to the sender so they could pay me directly into my bank account instead. The app then said the return could take up to ten days. At the time of writing, receipt remains unconfirmed. To be clear: Wise had not resolved the verification bug. I had to arrange for my income to be returned and paid another way because I could not access it. This caused serious stress and disrupted my ability to meet financial commitments. Security checks are understandable. Leaving a customer trapped in a broken verification loop without a workable alternative is unacceptable. My warning to other business owners is simple: consider what losing access to essential income would mean for you before relying on Wise as your only payment account. After this experience, I would rather pay more to receive the money through my bank than face this uncertainty again. Customers deserve working systems, clear answers and practical help when things go wrong. In my case, those were missing when I needed them most. Reviewed on: 13th October 2026

Great for foreign accounts and exchange rates

Wise is just great for having multiple foreign currency accounts, so I don't have to pay expensive foreign exchange fees for share sales and international transfers Reviewed on: 14th June 2026

Very reliable and easy to use

I have been using Wise for international transfers and it works perfectly. I used it to receive USD from Charles Schwab and also transferred funds from ZA Bank in Hong Kong. I've been using wise fora while and I love the overall experience, the transfer fees are transparent and lower than other financial services. I love the fact that I can hold multiple currencies in different countries. But my biggest challenge was a proof of funds verification, it made me to almost dislike them,I wish you could have done proofs of funds check earlier while opening an account, because it was almost impossible for me to do a proof of funds. Well I'm glad o did tho, that was my ick and that's why I left a 4 star review instead of a 5 star. Although I would have rated them 3 star, but from the above sentences they did well, and they had nice customer service. Reviewed on: 16th April 2026
